Ten years ago, Andria Thomas celebrated her high school graduation with a retreat at a Wyoming guest ranch. She never expected to fall for a young cowboy during her horseback riding lessons. There was no way that she would sacrifice her well planned life for a long distance relationship with a guy she’d only known for two weeks!

Now, after a bitter divorce, Andria returns to the V-Bar Guest Ranch, and is surprised to find that not only did Jake Walker still work on the ranch; he was now running the place. The last thing she needs is another disruption, and re-treating herself to a fling with an old lover is not the way to relax and regroup. It was a good thing she’d have help resisting his charm, thanks to Jake’s wife.

Time for a hasty retreat…

Get to know Jake and Andi:

Ten years is a long time. I never thought I’d see her again after she disappeared off the face of the earth a decade ago, but then Andria Thomas stepped off of that shuttle bus on the doorstep of my ranch, and I just about lost it. In front of my daughter. And hers. Ten years is a hell of a long time. So why do I remember everything about her time here like it was yesterday? I just have to make it through her stay, then Andi will disappear again. Of course, there are plenty of reasons for staying away this time. My position as Owner of the guest ranch for one, you don’t just hit on guests like that. If that doesn’t work, I’ll just fall back on the other reason: my wife.

I came here to get away. Kyle and I should have divorced long ago, but that didn’t make it hurt any less. I never would have planned this little getaway with my daughter Jessie If I had known that Jake was still here. Okay, so maybe in the far recesses of my mind I hoped he would be, but the last time I saw him, he was on the brink of taking the world by storm, who would have thought he would stay in Wyoming? I don’t jump into relationships. Especially on a rebound, but Jake always was the one man I couldn’t get out of my system.  Thank God he’s married, or I could see myself doing something completely out of character.
